85-03: Cooling Water Treatment Transition Zinc-Chromate to All Organic

Describes the transition made at a major southwestern chemical plant from zinc-chromate to an all-organic treatment program. Information is provided on the comprehensive program that was instituted to ensure positive results.  A major portion of that program involved the use of a computerized fouling monitor.  Results of the all-organic program, including cost differentials, are included.
