83-09: The Use of the CTI Blue Book at Altitude

In June of 1982 a revised version of ATC-105 was published because several changes and additions were necessary to improve the code. The additions include psychrometric tables of en­thalpy, density, specific volume, and humidity ratio for satu­rated air for various altitudes from -1000 feet to 8000 feet. (See tables in Appendix). You will find that at some tempera­tures there is a slight difference between these tables and the one published by Goff and Gratch in 1945. The reason for the difference is that Goff and Gratch did their work in the early 1940's.
