TP79-03 A Pilot Study to Detect Vegetation Stress...Pahwa & Shipley.pdf
Couldn't load pickup availability
A pilot study of salt deposition rate calculations and potential salt stress on vegetation from a natural convection brine cooling tower is presented. The deposition rate model developed was a flat terrain Gaussian model with integrated salt drift calculations. The model uses actual hourly meteorological data - wind speed, atmospheric stability, wind direction, humidity and ambient temperature. Cumulative depositions are obtained by summing calculations show general agreement with available measured data.
