74-05: Sidestream Filtration for Cooling Towers

Cooling towers not only carry out their primary function of extracting heat from process, but are also very efficient devices for removal of dirt from the air. The suspended solids thus introduced into the cooling water, together with pipe scale, raw water impurities, and 
on occasions escaping product from the process, contaminate the cooling water.
