69-06: Cooling Water Anti-Foulants, Theory and Application

Good morning! It is a pleasure to address you on the use of synthetic organic polyelectrolytes as cooling water antifoulants. During the next few minutes, will discuss some of the possible theoretical bases for the known uses of polyelectrolyte as antifoulants in once-through and open recirculating cooling water systems. Following this discussion, we will present some of our polyelectrolyte application experiences at various industrial locations.
