This paper presents a case study of a client that needed to increase output of the power generation station. But found themselves with no room to increase the size of their cooling loop for the rejection of the additional heat generation. Covering the addition of the required a 100 MMBtu/H rejection increase RWI accepted the engineering responsibility for adding the additional heat rejection requirement to the facility and proposed a novel set of cooling towers that float on the waters surface and strip heat as it is flowing in the preexisting cooling loop.
