TP25-05 How Limiting Vibration Levels Can Increase

Vibration results in deformation which produces cyclic strain that can result in premature fatigue failure of mechanical components and structural systems. This paper will present the notch-strain fatigue model with examples of its implementation. Real cases will be presented to demonstrate the significance of lowering vibration on the reliability of equipment.
