TP24-24 Association of Water Technologies – A History and How AWT and CTI Can Work Together to Improve the Future

The Association of Water technologies is an international trade association committed to assisting water treatment professionals in their efforts to serve their owner customers.  The Association provides training and technical resources so members can optimize their customers processes to minimize water and energy usage, minimize corrosion, and improve safety and health outcomes.  The AWT and the CTI are developing ways to align our efforts so that we can maximize the benefits for the public common good. The paper will discuss these common objectives and how we are working together to improve owner outcomes, especially in the areas of Legionella control, Code and Guideline Development, and Certifications.
