20-27: Review of New 2019 CTI ATC 105 Acceptance Test Code for Cooling Towers

The CTI ATC-105 Acceptance Test Code covers the determination thermal capability of evaporative water cooling towers. It describes the instrumentation and procedures for the testing and performance evaluation cooling towers. The CTI ATC-105 test code is the most frequently cited document produced by Performance and Technology Committee of the Cooling Technology Institute, In February 2019, CTI issued a revision, the first since 2000, of CTI ATC-105 incorporating changes to almost every section of the document. This paper describes the new version of CTI ATC-105 emphasizing the differences between the 2000 and 2019 versions of the test code.
