19-14: Underwater Robotic Technology for Online Tower Basin Cleaning

Cooling tower basin cleanings and inspections are expensive.  Traditional methods add to the initial costs through the need for draining, shutdowns, refilling, retreatment, and closed space entries. Safety personnel must be kept on hand, which adds fees.  A new method of robotic cleaning helps reduce these costs by keeping tanks filled and online, and nearly eliminates closed space entries.
