Natural Draft Hyperbolic Cooling Tower structures are essential components of energy generation. They function as heat rejection devices by extracting waste heat to the atmosphere. Many of the structures in service in the United States today were constructed in the early-to-mid 1980s and are approaching their original design life. Due to the substantial cost of new construction, as well as the long outage required for replacement and the resulting loss of revenue, a strategic repair program is an economical option to maintain structural integrity and prolong the service life of the structure.
