09-02: Common Industrial Cooling Tower Errors and Omissions

This paper lists many errors in specifications, bid evaluations, construction and operation. Most of these problems have been addressed in previous CTI papers and bulletins. However, these errors continue to be made effecting cost and performance of cooling towers. This is a brief review of some of the most important of these errors and methods to correct them.
