02-05: Concrete Basins, Materials Selection in Design and Repair

This paper is meant to provide a basic introduction and general understanding of the materials available for use in concrete towers and basins, and issues to be accounted for in the design to provide longevity. A basic introduction to the causes of deteriorations in concrete will also be presented along with some common repair methods and repair materials.
