The paper will outline procedures and practices followed to complete thermal performance tests on large utility cooling towers in accordance with the provisions of the new CTI ATC-105 Acceptance Test Code. Case studies of actual tests on crossflow and counterflow cooling towers with the results determined using the CTI ToolKit Software would be included in the paper. The presentation will incorporate a live demonstration using the software to evaluate the test data to calculate tower capability.
