Since cooling water systems have different environments and needs, it is particularly important to have the correct measurement systems. Corrosion coupons have been the standard method for many years.

Corrosion monitoring for cooling water is an important part of the water treatment evaluation and management of the program. There are several methods to monitor corrosion but normally simple corrosion coupons racks are employed. Due to the fact it is cost effective, fairly easy to install and has been the established standard method for many years.
