ESG -164 Selection Criteria Guidelines for Bottom Supported Fill in a Counterflow Cooling Tower

The purpose of this document is to allow for a better understanding of bottom supported film fill and trickle fill counterflow packs, made from the most common thermoplastic materials. Selection of fill is an important part of the cooling tower design due to its impact on a cooling tower’s design performance, trouble-free operation, and expected durability. Fill pack selection is a complex balance between various parameters.
